What Is A “Hard Phone” Vs. A “Soft Phone”?

A VoIP hard phone is a tangible device that sits on your desktop.  It looks similar in many ways to a conventional analog telephone.  The exception is that it plugs into your home or company IP network as opposed to an analog telephone line.  A VoIP soft phone is an application that installs on your desktop or laptop computer.  The window that appears on your display will most likely have a dial pad and a window similar to that of a cell phone.  Both the hard phone and soft phone work identically to connect you via VoIP and your VoIP provider to other VoIP users or to conventional telephone numbers, dependants on the type of service you purchase from the VoIP provider.

Setting Up a Softphone

1. Download X-Lite

2. Run (Install X-Lite) shiould be locate in your Download Folder

3. allow Firewall Rules and allow .Net installation if need be.

4. Open Xlite LIte (Please Speak With your Manager about receving Credential)

      a. User ID - XXXX (Case Sensative)

      b. Domain - (Account_Number)

      c. Password - xxxxxxxxx (Case Sensative)

     d. proxy - mia-mypbx.celeritytelecom.com

      e. Register with domain and receive calls (Check On)

      f. Advanced - Register Every - 60 Seconds not 3600 Seconds

Where Can I Find My recordings ?

1. Login into Portal.celeritytelecom.com

2. Click on CDR in the left hand side

3. Give it a From Date and To Date (Or you can select from the predefined Filter that are available)

4. Once you hit on the search Button any recording that is available you will be able to hear it and download if need be.

How Can I Check My Voicemail ?

you can check Voicemail by hit *97 then dial 

it will prompt you for the extenstion i.e 1000 

password should be the same as extension

Where can I go to Pay my Invoice
